I see this is on again next year, is there any chance of expanding the flying displays and getting more in? Also i know the owners are very proud of there vehicles but having a couple that children can get in and have a good clamber over would be a good idea as my nephew was left very frustrated by not being able to get in them.

Would you like MY 10 year old son to clamber over your car !!!!!
Why do you want your nephew to clamber over my vehicle, press the pedals, pull the leavers, drop ice cream on the seat. Sit in ok, clamber , NO ! If you ask politly, maybe they will say yes, just jump in, and you will get shouted at. What do you expect. A jeep costs about £6000 just for a rough one. Have yoou any idea what money goes into keeping a 60 year old vehicle going ? NO !!!
Military vehicles are hard, sharp and not children friendly. What would you do if they fell over and cut themselves while clambering. You make it sound as if they are climbing frames.
Millom is off this year anyway |

Ooh touchy subject, i have friends who let my nephew climb over his Spitfire which is worth a bit more than 6 grand. get over it. I didn't mean it literally of course there would have to be some sort of supervision. _________________ Visit the UK's newest aviation Website and Forum

| Just because your friend is stupid enough to let your nephew climb over his million pound Spitfire, does not mean he is automatically allowed to climb over other peoples vehicles. Dont care if you are one of the organisers. just because it is your event does not give you the right to think that you own every damn vehicle on the site. You made a lot of money out of the vehicle owners, and still charged them to go to that shitty dance in the town, full of old women. I dont think that you will get much responce from vehicle owners if you had another event. "Beltring of the north", you have to be kidding !!!!! Not worth going again if this is your attitude towards us. Without the vehicles and re-enactors, it would be a bad car boot sale.. |

| Shut the F up Chris, your friend has a Spitfire, NOT YOU ! Get one your self, and invite the local primary school to come over and play on it, see how you feel, that is how it feelsto us, irespective of how much it is worth. So wind your neck in until you know what you are talking about... |

Apologies to the event organisers to this verbal exchange. I was a member of the 'general public' to this event and was just making some observations to try and improve the event if it was to go ahead this year.
Obviously you cant read or have the balls to put a name to your post and have to hide behind 'guest'. I never at any point said i was one of the organisers. I also refer you to this section of my 2nd post..........
'' I didn't mean it literally of course there would have to be some sort of supervision.''
Once again apologies to the Museum and if the mods wish to remove any of my posts or find them inappropriate in any way feel free to remove them.
