RAF MillomHello all - just to say found your web site and felt needed a bit of spicing up- doesnt seem to have been updated for a while -same with forum.
I hope to visit RAF Millom within next 2 weeks - hope it is open and can see as much of museum as poss. My main interest is the airfield. Realise part is now Haverig Prison - but google earth shows much of airfield/runways and dispersal areas clear of prison.
Hope will be able to see some. Get back to me - am interested in doing some volunteering to do with airfield/aircraft renov - not got much experience - but willing to help
